ADA Transition Plan

As a public institution, NC State has an overarching responsibility for program accessibility under Title II of the ADA.

Transition Plan

NC State must ensure programs are equally available to people with disabilities. Public entities such as NC State are required to develop a transition plan which includes a self-evaluation and facilities survey. A transition plan consists of:

  • A list of the physical barriers that limit the accessibility of programs, activities, or services.
  • The methods to remove the barriers and make the facilities accessible.
  • The schedule to get the work completed.
  • The name of the official(s) responsible for the plan’s implementation.

Accessibility Projects

The following worksheet displays recently completed accessibility projects. The university continues to work on accessibility related projects around campus and this worksheet will be updated periodically.
