Giving

Give to the African American Cultural Center

When you give to the African American Cultural Center you impact the entire campus community.

Support The African American Cultural Center

Your donation will fund programs and projects that enhance NC State’s commitment to preserving and advancing our rich history and heritage.

Your partnership gives us the ability to facilitate efforts to ensure opportunity, equity, and inclusion for the students who rely on our services.

The African American Cultural Center (AACC) is a place of care; a home away from home. The AACC is designed to provide a space of support for our students, help them be retained at NC State and experience positive post-college outcomes. We do this through strategic programs and events, relationship building, and the provision of immediate response and resources to students’ critical needs.

When you give to the African American Cultural Center’s Enrichment Fund you directly contribute to:

  • Programming that cultivates educational advancement of NC State students;
  • The leadership development of NC State students including their individual agency and collective identity;
  • The ability for NC State students to feel supported, affirmed, and included within the university.

Furthermore, your contributions help maintain the African American Cultural Center facilities including a center with study spaces, an art gallery, a library, and a large meeting space. Thereby preserving the legacy of Dr. Augustus Witherspoon, for whom our building is named.
