2019 Symposium Counselors

Symposium for Multicultural Scholars

August 16 - 18, 2022

The Symposium for Multicultural Scholars is an educational and transitional experience for incoming undergraduate first-year and transfer students of color (Black, African, African American, Latinx/Hispanic, Native American, Indigenous, Asian, Pacific Islander, South Asian, and Bi/Multiracial), as well as first-generation college students, all historically underserved populations at NC State. Its purpose is to foster a sense of community for students while providing them information about campus support, personnel, and resources as a basis for helping ensure their academic, social and emotional success at NC State.

The Symposium for Multicultural Scholars is hosted before the start of each semester, twice a year, in August for fall admitted students and in January as a program for Spring Connect students.
