Latinx Heritage Month

Unidos en la Felicidad | United In Happiness

Our annual Latinx Heritage Month celebrations take place from September 15 to October 15, and we would love for you to join us! During Latinx Heritage Month, North Carolina State University strives to recognize the presence of the Latin American community through the avenues of unity, visibility, and acknowledgment.

The specific theme for this year is “Unidos en la Felicidad” which means “United In Happiness”.  With the many stressors that college students navigate, our goal is to encourage joy in the midst of uncertainties and busyness, a goal is not only for the Latinx Community but for the NC State campus body as a whole.

We name the celebration Latinx Heritage Month to be more inclusive of the experiences and identities of our students, staff and community.  Through our programming, engagement, and activities, we hope to promote this ideal for both the Latinx community and for the campus community at large.
