Spitz Dream NC State LGBTQ Pride Center Endowment
In 2020, William "Bill" Spitz, a long-time friend of NC State, reached out to the LGBTQ Center to find out how he could support members of the LGBTQ community during their time at NC State. When he was told that many LGBTQ-identified students encounter the loss of familial financial support because of those identities, Bill Spitz took immediate action to create the Spitz Dream NC State LGBTQ Center Endowment.
Distributions from the Endowment will provide emergency aid to LGBTQ-identified students and can be used toward expenses such as, but not limited to, health insurance, tuition, transportation, food, and housing.
