Faculty Salary Equity Study Shows Continued Improvement, Isolated Gaps
NC State's 2017 Faculty Salary Equity Study study showed that as of fall 2017, median salaries for underrepresented minority, Asian and female faculty for most ranks in most colleges were estimated to be between 95% and 105% of their reference groups.
New Kwanzaa Stamp to be Dedicated at NC State
The U.S. Postal Service has selected NC State's African American Cultural Center as the national dedication site for the 2018 Kwanzaa postage stamp. On Wednesday, October 10, 2018, faculty, staff, students and community members are invited to attend a ceremony on Harris Field, adjacent to Witherspoon Student Center.

Review Our Highlights of the Year
The Office for Institutional Equity and Diversity has published its 2017-18 annual report. The report highlights accomplishments from the past year for each of the office’s units, which include Equal Opportunity and Equity, Diversity Engagement, Training and Education, the four campus community centers and the Bias Impact Response Team.
Veteran NC State Leader Comes to Office for Institutional Equity and Diversity
The Office for Institutional Equity and Diversity welcomed Sheri Schwab as interim vice provost on March 1, 2018. Prior to accepting this role, she served as associate director of NC State's Cooperative Extension and director of county operations for almost seven years.
