What is the Opening Doors Diversity Awareness Retreat?
In collaboration with the Office for Institutional Equity and Diversity, the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences will offer its ninth annual Opening Doors retreat. This year’s retreat will be held on September 12-14, 2018 at the Eastern 4-H Center in Columbia, NC. The retreat is absolutely free for all NC State employees and close affiliates.

Tracey Ray Receives Provost’s Award for Excellence
Assistant Vice Provost for Student Diversity Tracey Ray has received a 2018 Provost's Award for Excellence. At a reception for nominees held in the Ballroom of Talley Student Union on Wednesday, March 21, 2018, Ray was recognized as one of five recipients and the sole EHRA winner out of a field of 17 nominees.
Food and Housing Security Initiative Coordinates Basic Necessities
In February 2018, the NC State Food and Housing Security Initiative shared a report that showed that 14% NC State students experienced food insecurity in the past 30 days and that 9.6% experienced homelessness in the past year.
Second Annual Gender and Equity Symposium Forges New Ground
