GLBT Center Lunch and Learn for Faculty

The GLBT Center is partnering with the Office of Faculty Development to offer a Lunch and Learn workshop on “Understanding and Supporting GLBT Students in the Classroom.” The workshop will provide faculty with a brief overview of the services offered by the GLBT Center and how the Center can serve as a resource for faculty.

NC State Celebrates MLK with Speaker Dr. Melissa Harris-Perry

The African American Cultural Center is excited to announce that the 2015 Martin Luther King, Jr. Commemoration speaker will be Dr. Melissa V. Harris-Perry. The MLK Commemoration will be held on Monday, January 12, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. in the Talley Student Union Ballroom.

2015 NC State Sisterhood Dinner Registration Now Open

Registration is now open for the annual Sisterhood Dinner, sponsored by the Council on the Status of Women. This annual event that showcases and honors the achievements of women will be held on Monday, February 23, 2015 in the State Ballroom of the Talley Student Union.

There has been much encouraging and engaging dialogue recently around sexual assault on college campuses. The NC State Women's Center has a long history of advocacy and education efforts and is committed to help build a campus culture intolerant of interpersonal violence, rape, and sexual assault.
