What is the Clothesline Project?

The Women's Center is bringing the Clothesline Project to campus to provide a space for survivors of interpersonal violence to share their experiences through artwork. Survivors are asked to stop by the Women’s Center to create a t-shirt to add to our clothesline being displayed throughout Talley Student Union.

Annual Lavender Graduation Has Become an NC State Tradition

The GLBT Center’s annual Lavender Graduation will honor the accomplishments of NC State's graduating GLBT students and allies. Last year, an overwhelming turnout of friends, family, colleagues and community members came to support our graduating students. This year we hope to have an even larger turnout.

ASB SF 2016: Intersectionality and Social Justice in the GLBT Community

An Alternative Service Break trip to San Francisco gives students the opportunity to think critically about how identity and social justice are related. This new iteration of the San Francisco trip, which formerly looked at the LGBTQ homeless youth population, broadens the focus to include intersectional social justice issues faced by diverse Bay Area communities.

SAAM is commemorated across the nation by community agencies, police departments, local businesses and campus communities. OIED Welcomes Finalists for Two Leadership Positions in Coming Weeks

The Office for Institutional Equity and Diversity will host candidates for two leadership positions over the next month. In the areas of equity and diversity, as with so many facets of the university, NC State is poised to make positive changes that will move the institution forward to greater achievement.
