The Women’s Center is bringing the Clothesline Project to campus to provide a space for survivors of interpersonal violence to share their experiences through artwork. Survivors are asked to stop by the Women’s Center to create a t-shirt to add to our clothesline being displayed throughout Talley Student Union.

We ask survivors and allies to stop by the center on April 8, 11, 14 and 15, 2016 to share their powerful experiences, words or feelings through artwork.

For the first time, the Women’s Center is partnering with the Arts Village and the Counseling Center to ensure that all students who participate walk away with some important information and resources. Students who create t-shirts will be given a bag that includes information regarding art therapy, an adult coloring book specifically for survivors, “Stop The Stigma” colored pencils, survivor affirmations and a list of other resources.

There will be a private space for those survivors who wish to process and paint in their own personal space.
