“Mom Scholars” Needed for NC State Study of Mothers in Graduate School

The Department of Educational Leadership, Policy and Human Development, under the direction of Alyssa Rockenbach, is sponsoring a study of full-time; doctoral students who are moms with children ages 0 to 5 for a research study about their experiences as both a doctoral student and a mother.

The term “mom scholars” broadly refers to those who have the dual role of mothering and attending graduate school. The purpose of the study is to illuminate the experiences of NC State’s mom scholars with young children.

This is an IRB approved study. All identifying information from participants will be kept confidential; however, the results of the study will be used for publication.
