The Women’s Center will host the third film of its Intersectional Film Series, The Light in Her Eyes, on Monday, January 22, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. in the Women’s Center, Talley Student Union, Suite 5210. This film screening and discussion will examine the complexities involved with being a woman of faith. The discussion will work to unpack just a few of the profound intersections of Islam, empowerment and resistance. We invite all students to come and participate in the film screening and discussion, which will utilize an intersectional approach to deconstruct the complicated and conflicting nature of women, religion and empowerment.
