Interactive Virtual Reality Exhibit “I am a Man” to Run Through February 6

The African American Cultural Center (AACC) will host the “I Am a Man” Exhibit, an interactive virtual reality (VR) project created by Dr. Derek Ham, assistant professor in NC State’s College of Design from January 10 – February 6, 2018 in the AACC Art Gallery in Witherspoon Student Center, 2nd floor.

This new project recreates the Memphis Sanitation Workers’ Strike and other events that led up to the assassination of Martin Luther King, Jr.  It will be installed later in the spring at the National Civil Rights Museum in Memphis, TN as part of their MLK50 Commemoration.
