The National Women’s History Month theme for 2016 honors women who have shaped America’s history and its future through their public service and leadership. From championing basic human rights to ensuring access and equal opportunity for all Americans, they have led the way in establishing a stronger and more inclusive world for all.
The Women’s Center will host a series of programs during the month to honor their story. Each program will offer a diversity of women and their experiences that will demonstrate and celebrate both the challenges and the opportunities women have faced. The tenacity of women underlines the fact that women from all cultural backgrounds in all levels of service have contributed to world change and progress.
Please join the Women’s Center in celebrating Women’s History Month.
