The Identities Beyond Athlete

Niya Blair Hackworth, a director of inclusion in the NCAA’s Office of Inclusion, will lead a professional development workshop that will enable participants to learn about the realities and lived experiences of athletes and their other identities. Additionally, participants will gain tools and resources to hold critical connective space with athletes as well as implement effective strategies to engage them more deeply during and after the pandemic.
