Alok Menon is the author of the book Beyond the Gender Binary and will discuss the book during a webinar. Students, faculty and staff are welcome to engage in the conversation. Menon is a gender nonconforming writer and performance artist. Menon’s distinctive style and poetic challenge to the gender binary are internationally renowned. Menon also is the author of Femme in Public and Beyond the Gender Binary. In 2019, Menon was honored as one of NBC’s Pride 50 and Out Magazine’s OUT100.
