New this year, the Women’s Center and University Recreation are partnering to offer a 7-week Wellness Wednesdays series using a social justice lens from August 30 – October 4, 2017. The series fosters the development of healthy habits and identities and lays the groundwork for students to lead a balanced and healthy lifestyle. Programs and activities will include self-care, yoga, sessions on sleep, body image, gender equity and the importance of being financially fit. Wellness Wednesdays are from 4-5:30 p.m. from August 30 – October 4, 2017 in the Women’s Center. For participants to get the most out of this program, we ask that students plan to attend the group for the full 7 meetings.
