Digital Happy Hour Featuring the Artists of SPEAK

SPEAK is a cross-cultural dance collaboration cocreated by tap dancers Michelle Dorrance and Dormeshia Sumbry-Edwards and Indian Kathak dancers Rina Mehta and Rachna Nivas. In a digital happy hour, the artists of SPEAK will share their inspiration for bringing Kathak dance and American tap together. In the casual virtual setting, the artists will share video clips, insights and the history of this cross-cultural project. We’ll toast to the power of the arts to bring us together even in difficult times. We’ll even share our favorite mocktails and cocktails before the session.
