Both GLBT-CA and Bliss were awarded an\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/diversity.ncsu.edu\/news\/2015\/02\/02\/alex-wan-out-to-lead\/\">At Home in the World Student Group Activity Grant<\/a>\u00a0to bring both communities together and to host\u00a0Atlanta City Council member Alex Wan. Alex currently serves as the Director of Development for Emory University Libraries and was recently\u00a0featured in the 2013 documentary\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.breakingthroughmovie.com\/\"><em>Breaking Through<\/em><\/a>, featuring openly gay politicians from around the nation. Light refreshments and a reception will conclude the event.
