Last June, Chancellor Woodson and his Cabinet stated, “We are committed to listening to the voices and lived experiences of those impacted and challenging ourselves to do the work necessary to build a more just and equitable NC State. As one first step, in the coming academic year, we will require every faculty and staff member to complete diversity and inclusion learning modules. This will include every member of Cabinet as well as all of the deans, directors and department heads of the university.”

This statement reflects NC State’s commitment to the learning and professional development of its faculty and staff to create and sustain a diverse and inclusive community.

In support of these goals, all employees are required to complete an approved training program designed to educate on diversity, equity and inclusion by April 1, 2021. If you have already completed your requirement, we applaud your personal commitment to this campus goal, which we are all working toward.
