Creating Accomplices: Supporting Queer and Transgender Students of Color Workshop on March 28

Queer and transgender students of color face barriers and obstacles that are often left out of the narrative of GLBT lived experiences. Join the GLBT Center as we unpack the systemic oppression that impacts and complicates the experiences of folks when race and ethnicity intersect with gender and sexuality. Discover ways that you can move beyond being an ally for the queer and transgender community of color to being an accomplice. This three-hour workshop is open to NC State undergraduates, graduate students, staff, faculty and alumni as well as interested members of the local community.

The workshop will be held on Thursday, March 28, 2019 from 2:00-5:00 p.m. in Talley Student Union, Room 4280. Please register in Reporter.
