DUE TODAY: Girls in Science Summer Camp for Middle Schoolers

The NC Museum of Natural Sciences is currently accepting applications for Girls in Science Summer Ed-Venture week-long residential summer camp for rising 6th and 7th-grade girls. This overnight camp is open to girls from across North Carolina and will be based out of the Lodge at Blue Jay Point County Park, located on Falls Lake in North Raleigh.

Dates: Monday, July 16 – Saturday, July 21.

Cost: $500, includes all activities and program materials, lodging, meals, field trip transportation, t-shirt and certificate. Scholarships are available.

Students will explore science and the world, get their feet wet in the lake and hands dirty in the forest and meet wildlife, go behind the scenes at the Museum, investigate North Carolina’s ecosystems and introduce girls to career opportunities in science.
