Did you know NC State has an “employee bucket list”? Officially known as Connect with NC State, the program fully engages staff and faculty with NC State. Visits to symbolic and special campus locations and events that celebrate the NC State community comprise this robust list of what makes NC State great.

Award-Winning Program Launches 2nd Annual Contest

Connect with NC StateAs a brand-new program last year, Connect with NC State received top honors from two national professional organizations.

The Connect with NC State website is live year-round, but the contest is only active in the fall semester. The instructions are “easy as 1-2-3!” Just visit a location or attend an event, take a photo of yourself there, then submit it to the website via social media (Facebook or Instagram) or by sending to the email address connectncstate@ncsu.edu. Be sure to include #connectncstate so we can find your photo. We will then enter the names of all who submitted photos into drawings for prizes that include football tickets with parking passes, Arts NC State performances, tickets to the International Festival of Raleigh and gifts from Wolfpack Outfitters in Talley Student Union. One name will be entered for each photo submitted, so the more places you go and the more events you attend, the better your chances for winning!

Watch for the schedule of drawings to be published on the Staff Diversity website in early August. But, you may begin submitting your photos right away! This contest is for any NC State employee. (No enrolled undergraduates, sorry!) Be sure to register your social media name and email address on the website.

Connect with NC State is sponsored by Campus Enterprises, the Office for Institutional Equity and Diversity and the Staff Senate. Questions about the program may be directed to Dr. Deb Luckadoo, Director of Staff Diversity.
