The Secret to Changing the World by Lee Mun Wah
Dr. Lee Mun Wah, psychologist, social justice advocate, filmmaker and former NC State Diversity Dialogue featured speaker, shares a story about identity, inclusion, and multiculturalism in this regional TED talk. Please bring lunch and join the viewing and discussion in Student Health Services, Room 1401 on October 28, 2014, 12:00-1:00 p.m.
Costa Rica Symposium
The Office of International Affairs will host an interactive forum for faculty and staff to discuss research and collaboration with Costa Rica on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 from 1:00-6:00 p.m., Golden LEAF Biomanufacturing Training and Education Center (BTEC), Centennial Campus. The format includes a keynote speaker, video presentations from faculty and partners in Costa Rica, a poster session and round-table discussions. A networking session featuring beer from the NC State Brewery and heavy hors d'oeuvres is also included. Please RSVP online.
